Summary
DescriptionWaterloo station 1848.jpg
English: An engraving of Waterloo-bridge railway station, London, England on opening. The image was published on 1 July 1848, which should have been the day after opening. In fact the opening was postponed; the image is a fanciful view of what should have happened. The station was opened on 11 July. The railway company was the London and Southampton Railway.
