She created the stars with her husband {{#invoke:Lang|lang}}, the Milky Way, Earth, death, and darkness.<ref name="Citlalicue">Aztec Calendar.</ref> This pair of gods are sometimes associated with the first pair of humans, Nata and Nena.<ref name="Citlalicue" />

In {{#invoke:Lang|lang}}, {{#invoke:Lang|lang}} is the Lord of the Day for days that land on the 13th of the month (Nahuatl: {{#invoke:Lang|lang}}).<ref name="Citlalicue" />
