Alopoglossus is a genus of lizards in the monogeneric family Alopoglossidae.<ref name="Hernández Morales et al. 2020"/><ref name="RDB"/> The genus is distributed from Costa Rica in Central America to northern South America.<ref name="Hernández Morales et al. 2020"/>
