Chambers attended [[Quarry Bank High School|Quarry Bank Comprehensive School]] sixth form in Liverpool. In 1992, Chambers formed his own band [[the Lemon Trees]] and wrote, produced and performed with them until they disbanded in 1995. The band only released one album – &amp;quot;Open Book&amp;quot;.
