Both the paragraph in the examples section and the quote in the citations do not accurately describe a Giffen good. The example in the paragraph of stocks is more in line with a Speculative Bubble rather than a Giffen good, and the examples in the quote in the citation (like jewelry) are examples of Veblen Goods, or goods that demand increases when prices go up due to conspicuous spending. Stocks could be a good example of a Giffen good but not how Arnott uses it.
