Bob McCartney

He began and ended his senior career with Leith Athletic,<ref name=litsterprewar>Template:Cite journal</ref> spending his prime years at Heart of Midlothian<ref>Template:Cite web</ref> where he won the Scottish Cup in 1896<ref>From the archive: looking back at the last Hearts v Hibs Cup Final, The Herald, 15 May 2012</ref> and the Scottish Football League championship in 1896–97, playing in all but one of the 18 fixtures; he also claimed two winner's medals each from the minor Rosebery Charity Cup (to add to one from his first spell at Leith)<ref>Leith Athletic v Hearts 3-2 (Rosebery Charity Cup Final: June 27 1891), Play Up Liverpool</ref> and East of Scotland Shield.
