Sherington is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority area of the City of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England.<ref>Parishes in Milton Keynes Template:Webarchive - Milton Keynes Council.</ref> It is located Template:Convert north-east of Newport Pagnell, and Template:Convert north-east of Central Milton Keynes, immediately to the west of the A509.

History

The village name is an Old English language word, and means 'Farm or settlement connected with Scira'.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> In the Domesday Book of 1086 the village was recorded as Serintone.<ref>Template:Cite book</ref>

The parish church dates from the mid-13th century and is a Grade I listed building,<ref>Template:NHLE</ref> dedicated to Saint Laud. Template:Clear left
