• Kidney bean, a light or dark red variety of Phaseolus vulgaris
• Vigna umbellata, a species of legume whose seeds are red
• Dysoxylum rufum, a rainforest tree in the Mahogany family
• Didymocheton muelleri, a rainforest tree
