Acidovorax is a genus of within the family Comamonadaceae. The genus contains some plant pathogens, such as Acidovorax avenae, which causes bacterial fruit blotch on cucurbit crops.<ref name=BergeyAlpha>Garrity, George M.; Brenner, Don J.; Krieg, Noel R.; Staley, James T.
