Adriana Sklenaříková

Adriana Sklenaříková (formerly Karembeu; born 17 September 1971)<ref name="FMD profile">{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> is a Slovak fashion model and actress who lives and works in France.<ref name="FMD profile"/> She is a former Guinness record holder for the longest legs among female models (at almost 1.24 m).<ref name="FMD profile"/>
Early life and education
Sklenaříková was born in Brezno to parents Miroslav Sklenařík and Zlatica Gazdiková.<ref>Template:Cite book</ref> Her mother was a Slovak doctor, while her father was a Czech engineer originally from Vsetín, where her Czech surname originates.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}.</ref> She also has a younger sister named Natalia, who works as a lawyer in Paris. After completing her secondary education, Sklenaříková enrolled in Charles University in Prague to study medicine. In 1994, her third year of studies, Sklenaříková was discovered by a French modeling agency after competing in a beauty pageant.<ref name="FMD profile" />
Career
In 1998, she was hired as one of the models for the Wonderbra campaign.<ref name="BBC News August 1998"/> In the United States, she modeled for Victoria's Secret.<ref name="FMD profile"/> In 2005 she featured in the Channel 5 TV documentary Bra Wars: Boom or Bust<ref>Bra Wars: Boom or Bust</ref> In 2007 she was the host of Top Model on Métropole 6.
In 2008 she participated in Rendez-vous en terre inconnue on France 2. In 2011 she was a contestant in the first season of the French Dancing with the Stars.<ref name="7sur7 January 2011"/>

Personal life
Sklenarikova met French football player Christian Karembeu on a flight from Paris to Milan in 1998, and they were married in December that year.<ref name="FMD profile" /> On 9 March 2011, in an interview to French magazine Paris Match, Adriana revealed that she was separating from her husband.<ref name="Paris Match March 2011" /> She stated that the causes for the separation were the couple's constant exposure in the media and their "hectic lifestyle" as well as him being "upset to see photographs of [her] with other men appearing in the press and speculation that [she] had a lover".<ref name="France Today March 2011" /> Christian refused questions from the media about the divorce, stating that he would not comment in public about his private life.<ref name="Francesoir March 2011"/>
In June 2014, she married Armenian businessman Aram Ohanian, her boyfriend of three years.
