Template:Use dmy dates Baron Milverton, of Lagos and of Clifton in the City of Bristol, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom.<ref>Template:London Gazette</ref> It was created on 10 October 1947 for the colonial administrator Sir Arthur Richards.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> He had previously served as Governor of Nigeria. His eldest son, the second Baron, succeeded in 1978.<ref>Template:Cite news</ref>
