In 2022, the label opened a record store.<ref name=":0" />

Name

The label is named as a metaphor for what Wrenn wanted to do in creating the label: bridge all parts of the hardcore scene into one label and then put his lucky number (nine) in the title.<ref>Chris Wrenn interview, Straight Edge Lifestyle web site (no date). Retrieved October 22, 2009.</ref>
