A buccellato (Template:IPA) is a Sicilian circular cake made from pastry dough filled with figs and nuts.<ref name="Riley">Gillian Riley, The Oxford Companion to Italian Food (Oxford University Press, 2004, p. 194.</ref> In Sicily, it is traditionally associated with Christmas.<ref name="Riley"/><ref>Carol Field, Celebrating Italy (W.
