A cocktail is a mixed drink containing one or more distilled spirits, such as brandy, cognac, gin, rum, tequila, vodka, or sometimes other spirits. Usually one or more non-alcoholic mixers or a fermented alcohols, such as beer or wine, are mixed with the distilled spirits. The entire mixture is usually served in a glass, often along with a garnish.
