Documentaries are based on the attempt, in one fashion or another, to "document" reality.
Documentaries come in several forms:
- Documentary film
- Documentary television
- Radio documentary
- Documentary theatre
- Web documentary, utilizing interactive and non-linear web-based story telling
- Photojournalism can also be considered a form of documentary.
