Daniela Akerblom (born 1969)<ref name=TG-M899>Template:Cite news</ref> is a Canadian actress who has appeared on television, in films, and on stage. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, and studied at Concordia University.<ref>Daniela Akerblom Template:Webarchive</ref> She also works as a collage artist.<ref name=KM-1711/> She speaks three languages fluently.<ref name=TG-M899/>

Early life

Akerblom attended Trafalgar School for Girls, graduating in 1986.<ref name=TE86>Template:Cite book</ref> Of her time at the school, she stated that she learned how to put faith in herself and her abilities.<ref>Template:Cite book</ref> She was listed as attending the CEGEP at Vanier in 1986.<ref name=TVF86-6>Template:Cite news</ref>

Acting career

After attending Concordia University from 1988 - 1990,<ref name=TVS95-9>Template:Cite news</ref> Akerblom traveled to Paris.<ref name=TVS95-4/> In 1991, Trafalgar reported that she was working in French film and television.<ref>Template:Cite news</ref>

She spent several years there before returning to Montreal after being chosen by the students of Trafalgar to speak on 17 November 1994.<ref name=TVS95-4>Template:Cite news</ref> At the time, she worked for Agence Artistique Pleiades both on screen and as a voice actress.<ref name=TVS95-9/>

She has been a member of the Union des Artistes as a stage actor since at least 1987.<ref>Template:Cite news</ref>

Personal life

In 2009, she was listed as the life partner of John L'Ecuyer in the Canadian Who's Who.<ref name=CWW09>Template:Cite book</ref>
