Dottikon
Template:Infobox Swiss town Dottikon is a municipality in the district of Bremgarten in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.
History
Dottikon is first mentioned in 1179 as Totinchon.<ref name=HDS/>
Geography
Dottikon has an area, Template:As of, of Template:Convert. Of this area, 47.5% is used for agricultural purposes, while 22.7% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 28.9% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (0.8%) is non-productive (rivers or lakes).<ref name=SFSO/>
The municipality is located in the Bremgarten district on the edge of the Bünz stream. It consists of the linear village of Dottikon.

Transport
Dottikon shares a railway station with Dintikon. The station is located on the Aargau Southern Railway line and is served by services of the Aargau S-Bahn and the S42 of the Zurich S-Bahn, which is a rush-hour service.<ref name="fpf800.42">Template:Cite web</ref>
Religion
From the Template:As of, 1,545 or 52.0% were Roman Catholic, while 628 or 21.2% belonged to the Swiss Reformed Church.
