English: Robert William Wilcox (1855–1903) led several unsuecessful rebellions in 1888 (only planned) 1889 (he surrendered was arrested, and acquitted), and 1895 (arrested sentenced to death but pardoned). He remained popular with the people, and served two different terms in the House of Representatives in Hawaii, and then was elected to the first Delegate from the Territory of Hawaii to U.S. Congress from 1900-1902.
