Gumbranch, Georgia

It is a part of the Hinesville-Fort Stewart metropolitan statistical area. The population was 264 at the 2010 census,<ref name="Census 2010">Template:Cite web</ref> and 235 in 2020.
History
Gumbranch was incorporated on January 1, 1979.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref> While officially incorporated as "Gumbranch", the alternative spelling "Gum Branch" is often used, such as with the nearby Gum Branch Park and Gum Branch Baptist Church.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref><ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
Geography
Gumbranch is located in western Liberty County at Template:Coord (31.838765, -81.684384).<ref name="GR1">Template:Cite web</ref> Georgia State Route 196 passes through the community, leading east Template:Convert to Hinesville, the county seat, and northwest Template:Convert to Glennville.
According to the United States Census Bureau, Gumbranch has a total area of Template:Convert, all of it recorded as land.<ref name=Gazetteer>Template:Cite web</ref>
