The Sorocaba River flows near Iperó. Iperó is accessed with the highway SP-280.

In telecommunications, the city was served by Telecomunicações de São Paulo.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> In July 1998, this company was acquired by Telefónica, which adopted the Vivo brand in 2012.
