Isokyrö (Template:IPA; Template:Langx) is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the South Ostrobothnia region, Template:Convert from Vaasa. The municipality has a population of Template:Data Finland municipality/population count ({{#time: j F Y|Template:Data Finland municipality/population count }})<ref name="population_count"/> and covers an area of Template:Convert of which Template:Convert is water.<ref name="total_area"/> The population density is Template:Convert.
In the name of the municipality, "iso" means big; "kyrö", on the other hand, is a Tavastian dialect and means a quarry, rocky or rugged terrain for hiding.Template:Citation needed The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
According to Traficom, Isokyrö is the most motorized municipality in Finland with 718 cars per thousand inhabitants.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
