Joseph Cumming is an American scholar specializing in Islamic and Christian thought. He serves as International Director of the Woodberry Intercultural Institute<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> and as Research Faculty at Fuller Theological Seminary.<ref name=":0">{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> He previously worked at Yale University as Director of the Reconciliation Program at the Yale Center for Faith and Culture<ref name=":1">{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> and taught courses at Yale Divinity School.<ref name=":0" /> He later served as Pastor of the International Church at Yale.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref><ref name=":0" />
