The Koshibito (in Japanese, variously: {{#invoke:Lang|lang}}, {{#invoke:Lang|lang}} or {{#invoke:Lang|lang}}, all pronounced identically) were a people of ancient Japan,<ref>Template:Cite book</ref> believed to have lived on the southern portion of the shore of the Sea of Japan<ref>Nussbaum, Louis Frédéric.
