The racial makeup of Lake Almanor Peninsula was 324 (88.5%) White, 2 (0.5%) African American, 1 (0.3%) Native American, 7 (1.9%) Asian, 2 (0.5%) Pacific Islander, 4 (1.1%) from other races, and 26 (7.1%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 22 persons (6.2%).
The Census reported that 356 people (100% of the population) lived in households, 0 (0%) lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and 0 (0%) were institutionalized.
There were 165 households, out of which 32 (19.4%) had children under the age of 18 living in them, 95 (57.6%) were opposite-sex married couples living together, 10 (6.1%) had a female householder with no husband present, 5 (3.0%) had a male householder with no wife present. There were 6 (3.6%) unmarried opposite-sex partnerships, and 0 (0%) same-sex married couples or partnerships. 47 households (28.5%) were made up of individuals, and 18 (10.9%) had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
