Geography
Lake Almanor West is located at Template:Coord (40.235246, -121.204180),<ref name="GR1">Template:Cite web</ref> along the southwest shore of Lake Almanor. It is locally referred to as "West Shore."

Hispanic or Latino of any race were 11 persons (4.1%).
The Census reported that 270 people (100% of the population) lived in households, 0 (0%) lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and 0 (0%) were institutionalized.
