History and profile
Lalkar was founded in 1967.<ref>Template:Cite book</ref> Formerly the official journal of the Indian Workers' Association,<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> it is now an independent Marxist-Leninist journal edited by Harpal Brar, the founder and former chairman of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist).
