Prior to 2010 it was listed by the U.S. Census Bureau as part of the Lemmon Valley–Golden Valley CDP.

Geography

Lemmon Valley is located at Template:Coord (39.6638, -119.8270),<ref name="GR1">{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> some Template:Convert north of downtown Reno. Golden Valley is adjacent to the south.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of Template:Convert, of which Template:Convert is land and Template:Convert, or 6.57%, is water,<ref name="Census 2010"/> consisting mainly of the Swan Lake Nature Study Area, a small wetland conservation area home to many bird species.
