Template:Use American English Template:Use mdy dates Template:Infobox settlement Lemmon Valley is a census-designated place (CDP) in Washoe County, Nevada, United States.<ref name=gnis/> The population was 5,040 at the 2010 census.<ref name="Census 2010">Template:Cite web</ref> It is a northern suburb of the city of Reno and is part of the Reno–Sparks Metropolitan Statistical Area. Prior to 2010 it was listed by the U.S. Census Bureau as part of the Lemmon Valley–Golden Valley CDP.

Geography

Lemmon Valley is located at Template:Coord (39.6638, -119.8270),<ref name="GR1">Template:Cite web</ref> some Template:Convert north of downtown Reno. Golden Valley is adjacent to the south.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of Template:Convert, of which Template:Convert is land and Template:Convert, or 6.57%, is water,<ref name="Census 2010"/> consisting mainly of the Swan Lake Nature Study Area, a small wetland conservation area home to many bird species.
