West Virginia is currently represented in the Senate by Republicans Shelley Moore Capito (serving since 2015), and Jim Justice (serving since 2025).
Robert Byrd was the state's longest serving senator, served from 1959 until his death in 2010. He is also the longest serving Senator in United States history.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref>
