This is a list of cities, towns and villages in Barbados. Barbados is a sovereign island country in the Lesser Antilles, in the Americas. It is Template:Convert in length and up to Template:Convert in width, covering an area of Template:Cvt. It is situated in the western area of the North Atlantic and Template:Cvt east of the Windward Islands and the Caribbean Sea;<ref>Chapter 4 – The Windward Islands and Barbados – U.S. Library of Congress</ref> Many of the village names in Barbados are based upon the names of plantations.<ref>Template:Cite book</ref> Barbados is divided into 11 parishes.
