Republic of Poland (since 1991)

In the aftermath of the Round Table Agreement of 1989, the Polish People's Republic was abolished and the modern-day Republic of Poland was established on 31 December 1989 by the constitutional amendment. However, the incumbent term of the Sejm, elected at the 1989 election, remained in position, until parliament dissolution and election of 1991.<ref name="OT-693" /><ref name="Kaleta-2014" />
