Midville, Georgia

The population was 269 at the 2010 census,<ref name="Census 2010">Template:Cite web</ref> and 385 in 2020. It is part of the Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area.
History
The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Midville as a town in 1877.<ref>Template:Cite book</ref> The community was so named on account of its central location between Macon and Savannah.<ref>Template:Cite book</ref>
Geography
Midville is located in the southwest corner of Burke County at Template:Coord (32.821321, -82.236586).<ref name="GR1">Template:Cite web</ref> The southern border of the city is the Ogeechee River, which is also the county line.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of Template:Convert, of which Template:Convert, or 0.34%, is water.<ref name="Census 2010"/>
