Mladen Rudonja (Template:Audio) (born 26 July 1971) is a Slovenian retired footballer. He most often played as a winger (usually on the left side) or striker.

International career

Rudonja made his debut for the Slovenia national team in a February 1994 friendly match against Georgia.<ref name=":0">{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> Despite being an attacker, he did not score a goal for the team until his 53rd cap – in the second leg of the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoffs against Romania in Bucharest.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> The match ended with a score of 1–1, a result that was enough to secure Slovenia's first-ever qualification for the main World Cup event.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> Rudonja played 65 matches for Slovenia.<ref name=":0" />
