Moving, released by Rough Trade Records on 27 January 1984, is the third studio album by the Raincoats.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref> It was re-released in the US by DGC Records in February 1994 and in the UK by Rough Trade in 1994, with a different track list and altered cover art. On its original release, the album reached No. 5 in the UK Indie Chart.<ref name="Lazell">Lazell, Barry (1997) Indie Hits 1980-1989, Cherry Red Books, Template:ISBN</ref> It was their last album for 12 years.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref>Delia Sparrow and Delia Sparrow, both of British indie girl group Mambo Taxi, contributed to the liner notes for the 1994 reissue.<ref>https://www.discogs.com/release/1786073-The-Raincoats-Moving</ref>
