National Union of Students Scotland

It is the national representative body of Scotland, and serves to protect and caring about Scottish students, having around 500,000 students that are pursuing higher education in Scotland. It was formed following the merger of NUS in Scotland with the Scottish Union of Students in 1971.
As of 2020, the president of NUS Scotland is the sole full-time elected officer and is elected for a two-year term. The current president is Sai Shraddha Suresh Viswanathan.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref><ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
