Geography

Oak Leaf is located in northern Ellis County and is bordered to the northwest by Ovilla, to the north by Glenn Heights, and to the east by Red Oak. Waxahachie, the county seat, is Template:Convert to the south, and downtown Dallas is Template:Convert to the north.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of Template:Convert, of which Template:Convert, or 0.10%, is water.<ref name="Census 2010"/>
