Pontécoulant ({{#invoke:IPA|main}}) is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France.

Geography

The commune is part of the area known as Suisse Normande.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref>

The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Launay and Pontécoulant.<ref name="gmap">{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref>

The Commune along with another nine communes shares part of a 5,729 hectare, Natura 2000 conservation area, called the Bassin de la Druance.<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref>

The communes single watercourse is the River, La Druance.<ref name=sandre2>Template:Sandre</ref>

The commune is completely enclosed within the commune of Condé-en-Normandie.<ref name="gmap"/>
