The Prime Minister of Bulgaria (Template:Langx) is the head of government of Bulgaria. They are oftentimes the leader of a political coalition in the Bulgarian parliament, known as the National Assembly, and the leader of the cabinet. At times, the Prime Minister has been appointed by the President of Bulgaria, in order to lead a caretaker government.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref> The current Prime Minister is Rosen Zhelyazkov, who has served since 16 January 2025.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
Living former prime ministers
The most recent death of a former prime minister was that of Georgi Atanasov (1986 – 1990), who died on March 31, 2022 at the age of 88.
