Reception
The game received favorable reviews according to the review aggregation website GameRankings.<ref name=GR/> IGN called the game "a bit on the cheesy side" despite criticism with the presentation and stated that it had "generic menus and the same overall front-end" as San Francisco Rush: Extreme Racing.<ref name=IGN/> Next Generation called it "a worthy successor to the original."<ref name=NGen/> GamePro said that the game "packs in enough quality racing to satisfy even the most jaded gamer. All the changes and updates seem minor when taken individually, but they add up to a satisfying new whole. Rush 2 is well worth its price."<ref>Template:Cite magazine</ref>Template:Efn
