Sedgwick is a statutory town in Sedgwick County, Colorado, United States.<ref name="GNIS"/> The population was 172 at the 2020 census.<ref name="Census 2020" />

History

The town was named for Fort Sedgwick, which was named after John Sedgwick, who was a major general in the Union Army during the American Civil War.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref><ref>Template:Cite book</ref>

Climate

According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Sedgwick has a semi-arid climate, abbreviated "BSk" on climate maps. July 1954 was one of Sedgwick's warmest months to date. The town had 16 days of temperatures at or above Template:Convert and on July 11, 1954, Sedgwick saw its temperature rise to Template:Convert.
