Template:Italic title prefixed Three ships of the United States Navy have been named USS Iwo Jima, in memory of the Battle of Iwo Jima.
- Template:USS was to be a Template:Sclass, but construction was canceled in August 1945 and scrapped 1949.
- Template:USS was the lead ship of the Template:Sclasss, she served from 1961 to 1993. Best known as the leader of the task force to recover Apollo 13 astronauts after their return to Earth. Scrapped 1995.
- Template:USS is a Template:Sclass. She was commissioned into active service in 2001 and is still in service today.
