WikiProject Music/Music genres task force is a task force to better organize information in articles related to music genres. This page and its subpages contain the suggestions of the Wikipedians involved in this task force; it is hoped that it will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and check our goals.

Scope

This task force aims to gather together those who are interested in working on and cleaning up the various music genre articles that exist on Wikipedia. {{#invoke:Navbox|navbox}}

Goals

• Maintain list of music genre articles
• Add Template:Tl, relevant footer templates and categories to genre articles
• Add Template:Tl to genre article talk pages
• Add to and maintain surveillance of Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Music regarding deletion nominations
• Continue to work through genres adding Template:Tl to all unsourced claims
• Continue discussion on the merger and cleaning up of overlapping genres and subgenres
• Prod/AFD any genre articles that can not be sourced
• To improve genre and related articles to Wikipedia:Content assessment standards

Userboxes

Place one these userboxes to your user page, they also add you to the Category:WikiProject Music genres participants. This userbox template has two parameters for two different userbox icons.

The default icon is set by omitting the "icon" parameter.
