Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, Whitney has a total area of Template:Convert, of which Template:Convert is land and Template:Convert, or 39.74%, is water.<ref name="Census 2010">Template:Cite web</ref> Much of the area of the township is occupied by several lakes at the headwaters of the West Branch of the St. Croix River, including Scraggly Lake and Junior Lake.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
