Wrens, Georgia

History
Wrens was laid out in 1884 when the railroad was extended to that point, and named after W.J. Wren, an early settler and merchant.<ref>Template:Cite book</ref>
The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Wrens as a town in 1901.<ref>Template:Cite book</ref> Wrens was incorporated again as a city in 1970.<ref>Template:Cite web</ref>
