Norris was the state’s longest serving senator (served 1913–1943). Nebraska's current senators are Republicans Deb Fischer (since 2013) and Pete Ricketts (since 2023).<ref>{{#invoke:citation/CS1|citation |CitationClass=web }}</ref>
